With the new LVD Orion 3015 4000w laser, with a high pressure cutting head that produces exceptionally clean cuts to sheets 60" x 120" of, 3/4" thick hot rolled steel, 5/8" thick stainless steel and 1/4" thick Aluminum plate plus other types of material and a z-axis travel of 11.5" allowing for the efficient cutting of pre-bent parts or tubes with a repetitive accuracy of +/-0.0008 and positioning accuracy of +/- 0.002.
The Strippit 1000 XP 20 position turret consists of 2 auto-indexing stations and 1-30 position multi-tool. This enables the manufacture of parts from sheets 40 inches wide to 120” long with repositioning and up to 12 gauge cold roll, with the accuracy of +/- 0.005 and, along with the LVD 8 foot CNC Hydraulic press brake (Windows controlled), allows for automatically determined bending sequences. All of this combined with a variety of high precision dies ensures excellent bending results from the first to last piece of your order, plus with the Vertex Quickinspec laser we can scan the product to ensure that they meet with your engineering requirements.
Fabricating Technics also has available a Amada Time-saver that allows for burr removal and for the application of a grain being applied to plates from 20 gauge to 1/4" thick with the maximum width of 24" plus a Haeger automatic hardware inserting machine for the insertion of PEM nuts, studs and standoffs which will allow for the mounting of components for easier assemblies and slicker designs.
In our facility we have the ability to both Tig and Mig weld, plus Spot weld to suit our customer’s specifications. The product can be completely finished with our grinding and sanding work centers therefore giving you the customer a ready for paint product or we can handle your finishing needs, with our reliable plating, painting and silk-screening vendors. We can also receive your electronic files to ensure less programming or manufacturing errors.
